Experience

What experience (personal, professional, other) would you bring to your role as Representative that will benefit our state?

As a pastor and leader for over 30 years, I have worked in the darkness and evil that is humanity and have seen amazing things happen when people are presented with truth, grace and purpose. I have been in the fight against immorality like abortion and the LGBTQ+ agenda all my adult life. I will always stand for morality and truth. I have experienced countless stories of truth breaking barriers and changing entire lives and groups of people.

Vision

What is your vision for being a Colorado State Representative?

Bringing back our Judeo-Christian values and moral rule of law. My job will be to develop legislation that will fight for unborn children and the rights of all people everywhere. I want to bring integrity and character to the State legislature. I desire freedom for adults and children. We need to make laws to hinder the ever-increasing control the state has over the people. I want children to be free of the sexual attack on them in public schools. I will make laws that will protect our children from the LGBTQ+, transgender and CRT agendas. I want to stand for truth and to be light in a dark state legislature.

Election Reform

Do you believe that elections in Colorado should be conducted differently? Should voters in Colorado be required to verify their identity and residential status in the respective counties in which they vote? Are you in favor of a single-day, in-person voting system consisting of all-paper ballots? Why or why not?

Colorado has been the epicenter of election corruption for a long time. Dominion voting machines need to be eliminated whatever the cost and time involved. I believe in showing IDs to vote. I would favor a single-day, in-person voting system with paper ballots but I would also support a mechanized vote- counting system that is completely secure. Most importantly we need to have a system that is not connected to outside entities that can hack and change the outcome of elections. We need much more oversite and integrity in the overall voting system.

TABOR

What is your position on the Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR)?

TABOR is necessary to keep the taxes in check. Citizens should decide tax increases, not the government or special interests. However, TABOR is not a reason why election corruption cannot be dealt with.

Education

As a State Representative, what will you do to improve the education of our K – 12 students? What is your position on parental authority in education, including school choice?

The children belong to the parents NOT the state nor the school district. Parents need to be allowed to have more input in the local school districts and the curriculum they are using. All transgender, LGBTQ+ and CRT curriculum needs to be removed from schools immediately. I will present legislation to remove these destructive agendas and prevent anything like them in the future. Parents should be allowed to send their children to any school they desire or to homeschool their children. Taxpayer dollars need to follow the child, not the system. The school the parents choose for their children should receive their tax dollars.

Government Authority

Do you believe that the government has the legal power and authority to dictate what a person does with his or her body? If so, how?

The government does not have the authority to tell someone to take a vaccine or any other drug they do not want to take. It is my body and it does not belong to the government. As a State Representative I will introduce legislation that will prohibit this gross unconstitutional overreach. This argument is used in favor of abortion. The problem with that argument is the mother and the child inside the womb of that mother are two different people. The mother has a right over her own body but that child is not her body, it is a different body of a different person.

Protecting the Most Vulnerable

As a Representative, how would you seek to protect the most vulnerable in our county, including the lives of the unborn, the trafficked, and the elderly?

I will do everything I can to present legislation that protect the unborn from the moment of conception. I was president of the board of a group that rescues girls from human trafficking and have fought that fight for many years. I will present legislation that will protect children from human trafficking and strongly go after those that participate in trafficking of children and adults. Everyone is created by God and in His image. Everyone has the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, from conception to the grave. I will fight to protect the right of the elderly to also enjoy Life. We must respect Life. I stand for Life.

1st Amendment

What will you do as Colorado State Representative to protect our 1st Amendment rights to: the free exercise of religion, freedom of speech, peaceably assembly, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances, all of which are becoming more difficult to exercise in America (and around the world)?

As a pastor I have fought many battles over the years against violations of freedom of religion and free speech. We kept our church open during the lockdowns. We never closed. I have had sermons removed from Youtube during the last few years. As a State Representative, I will fight with every tool I have to protect freedom of speech, assembly and religion. Without this basic constitutional freedom our country is not truly free.

2nd Amendment

Do you believe that gun ownership is a civil right, and what are your positions in regards to red flag laws, magazine capacity bans, legislation that regulates gun storage, and permitless “Constitutional carry”?

The 2nd Amendment should stand as the only explanation for gun ownership. Citizens of the entire USA have the constitutional right to own a firearm. They should not have to explain why they want to own that firearm. All of the magazine capacity bans and regulations are just manipulative ways to attack the 2nd amendment. It is no one’s business if someone has a gun and what they do with it unless they harm someone. I will protect personal freedom in all areas of life, including the constitutional right to own a firearm.

Infrastructure Spending

How do you believe that tax revenue in Colorado should be best utilized to improve our infrastructure?

My first stance on taxes is no new taxes and also I will try to eliminate as many taxes as possible. For initiatives that need revenue there and many places where that revenue could come from, i.e. Planned Parenthood. I would like to see more revenue for police officers in the form of raises and also additional training. Most officers I talk to feel undertrained which hinders the officer’s confidence and ability to make quick decisions that could save lives. The raises may not include the bureaucrats at the top of the police structure but should focus on helping police officers that may have families.

Experience

What experience (personal, professional, other) would you bring to your role as Representative that will benefit our state?

I was raised in a Southern Baptist church. My grandmother would make sure that we attended vacation Bible school in the summer and attended church as much as possible during the weekday. I found the teachings of Jesus rather interesting. I loved how he helped people in need and stood up for the poor because I know what it is like to struggle…  (continue reading next answer)

Vision

What is your vision for being a Colorado State Representative?

I saw people in the church filled with this energy that I never felt, they called it the “Holy Spirit.” I asked my pastor, “Why don’t I feel it also?” He told me God speaks to people in different ways and that I should try listening a little harder. I didn’t understand at the time and I stopped attending church in my late teens and figured it wasn’t for me. One thing about me is that I have always liked helping people and I have always enjoyed serving. I was in my early twenties when I got involved with nonprofits where I would go out and help people get off the streets…  (continue reading next answer)

Should voters in Colorado be required to verify their identity and residential status in the respective counties in which they vote? Are you in favor of a single-day, in-person voting system consisting of all-paper ballots? Why or why not?

I saw the joy on their faces when they saw someone cared about them, I saw the struggles they went through by going to them in their homes under bridges. It touched me deep in my soul when I saw them go from the streets to a stable home. That was when I felt what those people were feeling in my church all those years ago…   (continue reading next answer)

TABOR

What is your position on the Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR)?

I knew this was a sign and my calling, to serve people. I can’t say I have ever felt the presence of God in a church personally, but I have felt it when helping those who can never pay me back, I felt it when I saw someone broken down on the road in the middle of a snow storm and fixed their car. I felt it when someone reached out for help with their life-saving medicine and I was financially able to help them…   (continue reading next answer)

Education

As a State Representative, what will you do to improve the education of our K – 12 students? What is your position on parental authority in education, including school choice?

No, I don’t go to church or tell people about my faith because I show it by loving people, fighting against injustices, and helping those in need. My faith does not require me to express hate or discriminate against anyone. Unfortunately, there are elected officials, and some that want to be elected, that want to do just this…  (continue reading next answer)

Government Authority

Do you believe that the government has the legal power and authority to dictate what a person does with his or her body? If so, how?

I believe in the separation of church and state and I respect that not everyone believes in what I believe. I will never force my religious beliefs on someone else. I will never discriminate against anyone for any reason. I respect everyone’s religion unless it requires you to discriminate or hate. My only purpose if elected is to serve, not spew hate and division…  (continue reading next answer)

Protecting the Most Vulnerable

As a Representative, how would you seek to protect the most vulnerable in our county, including the lives of the unborn, the trafficked, and the elderly?

I know that I am a Democrat running in what used to be a Republican stronghold and that makes some people uncomfortable. Please don’t judge me because of any preconceived notions that you may have about me. Judge me based on my ideas, actions, and heart, not what you hear. Some of my priorities are housing affordability, education, economic development and workers rights…  (continue reading next answer)

What will you do as Colorado State Representative to protect our 1st Amendment rights to: the free exercise of religion, freedom of speech, peaceably assembly, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances, all of which are becoming more difficult to exercise in America (and around the world)?

I am the only candidate who does not want to take away your rights in House District 15. I am the only candidate that has a plan to fix housing costs, protect workers’ rights, ensure our children are safe at school, and ensure that everyday people have a voice that will be heard…  (continue reading next answer)

2nd Amendment

Do you believe that gun ownership is a civil right, and what are your positions in regards to red flag laws, magazine capacity bans, legislation that regulates gun storage, and permitless “Constitutional carry”?

I am not a rich politician. I am a mechanic, I am the working class. I watched my father, who was a carpenter, go through the hardest time of his life during the early 2000s. I saw the government bailing out everyone, but the working class, which angered me. It is not the CEOs that make the country work, it is you and me the electricians, mechanics, construction workers, cashiers, nurses, waitresses, etc. You don’t build a house from the top down, you build it from the ground up. The same goes for our economy…  (continue reading next answer)

Infrastructure Spending

How do you believe that tax revenue in Colorado should be best utilized to improve our infrastructure?

We don’t need someone in office that has no plans and does not care about preserving our rights. We have real issues here in Colorado and we need someone with real ideas. We cannot have someone running for office that attacks the LGBTQ2+ community or someone that wants to take away voting rights or individual rights. Whether I am a representative or not, I will continue to stand up to people who want to bully others that don’t conform to their beliefs. I am a representative for the people, by the people and I am convinced that on November 8th, we will vote out hate. (finished)

Christian voting

Voting is a simple, yet significant way to do something about public policy in our country. As people of faith, we will be held accountable for our actions, as well as our lack of action. (Luke 12:48)

Biblical worldview

By diligently learning, applying, and trusting God’s truths in every area of our lives, we can begin to develop a deep comprehensive faith that will stand against the unrelenting tide of our culture’s non-biblical ideas.

Vote your values

The issues of the day change. Political parties and platforms change. God’s Word never changes. The vote of every Christian should be based on the principles of Scripture and not persuasive personalities.

Electing righteous leaders

Bad governance and our loss of freedom is the direct result of the church’s failure to disciple. When the citizenry do not seek to be obedient to God’s Law, they vote in wicked and corrupt candidates, who then trample underfoot the God-given liberties of the people.
