The 2022 Primary Elections in Colorado are being held from June 7 – 28th. Registered Republicans will receive a Republican ballot, registered Democrats a Democratic ballot, and Unaffiliated voters will receive both ballots, but must only return one of them. Statewide, voters will determine which candidates will represent the Republican and Democratic Parties for the offices of U.S Senate, Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Attorney General, as well as the Regents and Board of Education members. On the county/district level, voters will determine their U.S. Congresspeople, State Senators and House Representatives, County Commissioners, Clerk and Recorders, Treasurer, Assessor, Sheriff, Surveyor, and Coroner.

Church Voter Guides, based in Colorado Springs, has produced these Voter Guides for the Federal, States, and El Paso County Primary Elections in Colorado, to provide information about each candidate and  help inform the electorate.

How You Can Make a Difference

Develop a Biblical Worldview

It’s better to be biblically correct than politically correct. By diligently learning, applying, and trusting God’s truths in every area of our lives, we can begin to develop a deep, comprehensive faith that will stand against the unrelenting tide of our culture’s non-biblical ideas. (Romans 12:2)

Vote Your Values

The issues of the day change. Political parties and platforms change. God’s Word never changes. The vote of every Christian should be based on the principles of Scripture and not persuasive personalities. (Matthew 24:35)

Get Out & Vote

Voting is a simple, yet significant way to do something about public policy in our country. As people of faith, we will be held accountable for our actions, as well as our lack of action. (James 4:17)

Elect Righteous Leaders

Bad governance and our loss of freedom is directly related to the church’s failure to disciple. When citizens do not seek to be obedient to God’s Word, they elect wicked and corrupt candidates, who then trample underfoot the God-given liberties of the people. (Proverbs 29:2)
